Makettt chosen as curator and manager of Circularium!

Over the next 5 years, Makettt will manage and help shape the Circularium project with its owner D’Ieteren Immo. Makettt is a Brussels duo formed by Jonathan Ectors and Gerd de Wilde who have solid experience as managers of emblematic temporary occupation projects in Brussels: SEE U and Studio Citygate. D’ieteren Immo was won over by the experienced duo's proposal and entrusted them with the management of Circularium, located in the heart of Cureghem.

Circularium is the transformation of more than 20,000 m² of industrial space into a center dedicated to local innovation and circular production, in positive and dynamic connection with the neighborhood. Makettt shares with D’Ieteren Immo the ambitions of economic and social innovation firmly anchored in the future and will help to co-develop them in Circularium. Within this project, Makettt will bring together the different actors on the themes of circularity, production and flexibility and will ensure local anchoring, coordination and general management of the site.

In addition, the development of the traditional economy towards a circular economy is gradually reaching cruising speed. There are also a lot of changes going on in Brussels and we want to contribute to this dynamic with the Circularium project ”, says Gerd De Wilde, founder of Makettt.
